TIME OUT!

So on Monday night I was in the kitchen making dinner.  Rolling out the Pizza dough, well Ty kept pulling on the cloth I was using to roll the dough out.  I said please don't do that Ty mommy is trying to fix dinner "Pizza". Anywho, so he is standing there looking at me, and said No Time out.  And hit my leg. Again No Time Out. Silly boy he really doesn't go to Time Out that much so I can't believe that he wanted me to go to Time Out since I wasn't letting him do what he wanted to do! Then Tuesday I was getting dressed in the closet and again I hear this No Time Out. So he is sending mommy to Time out. Oh goodness what am I going to do.  He thinks its a game now!

that's it you're in time out! that would be the line at our house. It is hard, but you gotta stick to your guns, or they will know your soft. At least that is what the books say. Time out has been a pretty useful tool at our house, but I think that it all depends on if it works for you r kids. good luck!

Kids say the darndest things- and it is so funny how they will pick up on the smallest of things- whether you have said it once or a million times! LOL! We have kids in nursery where time out is like no biggie- because they must be put in time out quite a bit... you say time out- and they will literally just go and sit in a chair all by themselves and laugh... like - ok - I go time out. It is soo funny!
