Bout' Time...
The North Shore Pics. Sorry they have taken a little while, we have been busy and I haven't been able to post! So here you go!
SHARKS COVE SNORKELING is always a must stop on the North shore!
Nic letting us know the water was a bit chilly that morning!
Next we stopped at the Temple. It is closed for major renovations, but we did spend a little bit of time in the visitors center. It was super cute when we pulled up to the temple, Ty says... Look its Jesus house. And mommy can I go in and see him, and touch him? Well I had forgotten about the christis they have at the visitors center, so he was excited to see him there!
Shay kept waving at him, but I kept missing the exact moment. It was super cute!
THE FAM.
Ty finally got to touch Jesus feet. I missed that one too, so I made him touch him again!
We had such a great time on the north shore! We love to go back there. We saw the beach we first meet at, went back to campus, and went to the night show which is always a plus in my eyes. I love seeing the Polynesian Cultural Center.
The only downer we had was our little Ty got stung by a Portuguese manofwar (or little blue bubbles). It was super sad. He kept saying through the tears... "there was a string on me and I couldn't get it off." Poor little kid. We learned that vinegar takes the sting away (this was a few days later), after we had taken a different measure to treat the sting.

Oahu...
We had the chance to go meet Nic's parents at Oahu this past weekend. It was a fun trip, with new sites that we have not yet seen. PEARL HARBOR!
Nic's dad served in the Navy for a while, and was stationed in Hawaii. It was fun to see his face as the memories came flowing back.
This is a small version of the sub that Poppy served on. Ty was bummed he was too little to walk onto the sub, so we admired it from a distance.
First look at the memorial.
TONS OF NAMES!!!
The views of the Arizona, There is a certain hush there.
When you look at the water you can see and smell oil, there is oil still leaking from this vent.
This is the viewing well
The map of the ship, as you can see we only are on a small portion of the ship, The memorial is the big white part.
The other boats docked around the Harbor that they use today.
I am so thankful to all those men and woman who have served in the navy, army, marines, any part of the forces, that they risk their lives to keep us Free! I have a stronger respect for them now!

Cruzn' & The Fair!
Shay has found a new found love when playing outside with Ty, She loves to ride in our neighbors little car... Look at that concentration....
Ohhh soon fallowed by sheer Joy!
I'm ganna get you daddy!
So we are doing all sorts of cruzn' these days, now that Shay knows she can crawl, the house if free roam! Looks like the gate needs to be going up!
That's right folks, She can climb the stairs! She was determined to make it up to Ty's room!
YEAH THE FAIR CAME TO TOWN! Ty has been waiting and waiting for this day, to ride on the helicopters!
A new ride this year! Speed cars! Zoom!
But most of all, the petting farm is the favorite. This year Ty attached himself to this little chicken. He held this chicken the whole time while in the petting farm. He would take it up to people so they could pet it, but would keep a sure hold not letting this chicken go!
Shay was so interested in what brother had....
Oh that's soft! She loved petting the animals just like Ty!
Last but not least.... Merman & Shark Boy! WE had fun making creatures out of ourselves last weekend at the beach!
