A few happy moments....

A few weeks ago after church, Shay found herself very comfy on my bed with the Ipod and ear phones watching a show... oh she is so cute! This is what I found one Sunday Afternoon while I was cooking dinner..... What an amazing daddy! I love you Nic Then This is what I found the Next sunday.. I think this is a new daddy daughter tradition on Sundays.... And for the record, Nic does a really good job at it!!! So after 7 years of saving this little piggy that my mom gave us the day we got married... we finally cracked it open because he was stuffed full!!! Its amazing at how much you can save in 7 years if you put a little money away! We were very pleased, and would like another one if anyone knows where to buy a real piggy that you have to break to open. Shay has taken on the tradition that her brother did at her age.... playing in the water none stop! Her thing the last little while has been at bedtime she will lay on the middle landing and wait tell we come lay with her in her bed... as you can see we haven't been making back to her bed before she falls asleep, silly little girl! Last but not least.... The other day Ty was playing so nice with his sister so I had to grab the camera and take a VIDEO (nic not a picture) But notice what he does at the end of the video... such a boy I have to say!!

Family History... Who knew...

I know we have been told to do our family history, and I have to admit I have never been one to be super excited about it.... but Nic found a cool story about his family. On his Fathers side comes the name of John Daniel Holladay who was a Captain in leading 350 individuals and 69 wagons were in the company when it began its journey from the outfitting post at Wyoming, Nebraska (the west bank of the Missouri River about 40 miles south of Omaha) In September of 1866 they reached Utah. Where he then settled.... drum roll... Holladay, Utah. This is near Santaquin, Utah. Then he took his family to live with LDS Church sanctioned colonization of Rancho San Bernardino, present-day San Bernardino, CA. After 6 years they went back to Utah, and settled down at Holliday Springs known today as Santaquin, Utah where he remained until his death on December 31, 1861. He lived to only be 21 years old! Okay so you might not all find that crazy info, but my husbands family settled Holladay Utah! Wow, and here I thought he was a Cali boy all the way through! Guess not! What's Missing???

What is missing from this Picture???? That's right Ty's First lost tooth! He was so excited... Shay Showing off her smile, Then showing us her "lost tooth" no she hasn't lost any teeth yet, she just loves to do what ever Ty does!!! What's missing from this Picture??? Oh yeah thats right my feet, yes i am to the point where I can no longer see my toes by just glancing down... And only 5 weeks left tell this baby boy comes out!
