YOU ARE AMAZING TO ME!!!

(this is not a race pic, but at least it show how awesome he is!)**as a side note this is the beach that Nic and I first meet each other!** So we both did the Old Koloa Sugar Mill run. I only did the 5k, which was fun, but hard with pushing our double stroller on a very rocky road but I have to say I did pretty good for my own self. Which is what I was wanting.... But my husband, the amazing runner, ran the 10 miler (11.5miles) I say that because when the race started they guy at the turn around spot was not there so my poor husband ran a mile extra then everyone else.... BUT STILL CAME IN FIRST PLACE!!!! Amazing..... Our friend Brady was close by the turn around spot when Nic was on his way back... Then when I saw Brady at the finish line, he told me that Nic had ran an extra mile, because the guys was not at the turn around spot. My heart sunk for him, because I know how hard he was wanting first place. Well low and behold, all the sudden I see a guy running for the 10miler, and right behind him was My handsome hubby.... You could tell he was dead, but we all started yelling for him, to push push push... easier to say then to really do, well he picked it up, passed the guy and came in at #1. AMAZING HONEY!!! I could never do what you did, I think I would just stop and start crying! Good job to all the runners today!

Such a Sweet Girl...

So Shay turned 11months the other day.. she has started to do so many things, she love to feed herself, no matter the food texture. She has discovered she can climb on the coach and loves to sit right next to Ty just like a big girl! Another thing she is really good at is not sleeping at night! Grrr both my kids when they were little don't like to sleep, just like to be close to mom all night long! Anyways, last night Shay woke up around 8:30pm so I thought I would try just letting her cry it out... well the little stink... she didn't really cry hard, it was more her, I am tire wine cry, for a long time, then she was quiet so we thought she had fallen asleep when we went to bed at 10:00pm we walked in our room and she was standing up in her crib just hanging one, once she saw us she started crying so hard, so yes folks I gave in and thought to myself, oh well I guess we will try another time! The crying out method never worked for my kids. Oh well, its only for a short time of my life, I can make it through! I love them way to much to care super much!

Conference weekend!

So what do you do when conference Sunday ends at noon your time? Go feed the fish at the Marriott! Both kids love to watch the fish go crazy! This bird wait on the pier, until just the right moment, and dives down and get the fish, then goes and hides them and eats them later!
