The Little Bird that Flew to Far...

So this poor little bird flew right into our sliding glass door. Ty adopted him as a pet, and carried him around outside on the shovel. So I told him that the birdie had died and Ty looked at me and said he went home to his mom and dad? I said no he went to Heaven to live with Heavenly Father. He said okay, but still wanted to carry him around. I asked him if he wanted to help me bury him in the dirt so he could go to heaven... So we started to dig a hole for him, but once the hole was dug and I put the bird in the hole, and covered him with the first scoop of dirt. Ty was so upset, saying NO NO mommy NO almost in tears, then he said don't cover him up. I just want to hold him, so I said okay. The only thing we left him out on the porch over night, and when we got up he was gone. We think a kitty cat came and got him. Poor little guy sorry. But Ty hasn't asked for him yet, so we will see.

You guys have all sorts of creatures show up at your house, and it seems like half of them are dead! But that Ty loves them anyway.

Ok Heidi, I was thinking yesterday of your salsa garden and all the homemade salsa you used to make. Those were good times. Maybe someday we can be neighbors again!

Oh that is so sad! I remember when this huge bird hit our window, I had no idea what I was going to do. I called mom and she said not to bother it , it would eventually either die or snap out of it. And it did snap out of it. That is always so sad I hate having to teach those lessons. Ps. paul I love the picture Stoney! lv ya Ill call ya later.,Mich
