Part 1 Xmas Vacation - Utah Trip....

Sorry its been so long... we have been busy settling back into our routine. We had such a great vacation. We started off at my parents house in Utah. Ty loved sledding down the hill in the snow.... and then driving the 4-wheeler back up to the top with dad to go down again. We were thankful that Santa found us at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Ty had so much fun opening up gifts. As you can tell it was a perfect Christmas, with Snow outside, and a beautiful Christmas scene inside the house, and lot of presents to open. It was hard at times with all the grandkids wanting this toy or that... some got feeling hurt, and some were best friends. but I think all in all, they enjoyed one an other's company! Shay loves grandma & grandpa so much, my mom was so good to walk with her all over the house, and her reward was Shay started walking all by herself while we were there! And she always had a great big smile for papa first thing in the morning, while her face was plastered with yogurt. I have to say the hardest part about this whole trip was saying Goodbye to my family. As I felt the embrace of my parents I could feel there longing for us not to leave, to stay just a little longer, or maybe forever. We all want to some day not have to keep coming and going. Some day Dad, Some day mom, we will be there too! I promise! Thanks for loving us so much, for taking such good care of us, for making us feel so welcome even though my children and I messed your house up with stuff here and there! WE LOVE YOU WITH ALL OUR HEARTS! After saying goodbye to my family.... We then drove down the Gunlock which is outside of St. George Utah to visit with our very good friends The Hardy's! We lived by then in Las Vegas, and Nic and Scott were roommates in College. It was so much fun, Ty and Ben were instant friends! They had the greatest time together, exploring outside and play with the chickens. The boys found Ty's Nerf guns, and would say... come on lets go shoot the birds! It was very fun to watch how much fun they had. here are a few videos, (thanks scott) of the boys and the chickens. The Eggs they loved checking to see if any eggs needed to come into the house. The chickens....Ty was not afraid of them at all, in fact check it out... Shay and Andrew were buddies, especially if one of them had Cheerios to share. Of course a Gunlock trip would not be the same with out a ride on the moto's the two very happy boys! All of us crammed into the Hardy's car... what a fun tip that was with babies crying and yelling all at the same time, I think we were all glad to finally reach the airport. It was sad to say goodbye to our friends, but we were so thankful they let us stay, and play with them in Gunlock! Thanks for the ride to the airport~ Sorry it wasn't very quiet!!!

Part 2 - California to be posted soon.

Thanks for coming to visit us. It was so fun to finally see you guys. It's been way too long. Ben had a blast playing with Ty. In fact, just the other day, Ben asked me to call Ty and see if he wanted to come over to play. I wish it was that easy.

Love you guys.
