My Big Boy!!
So now that I have a newborn, I am realizing more and more, how grown up Ty is getting to be. He is so in love with the bike our neighbor gave to us for Christmas. His little boy grew out of it, and just wanted so badly to just give it to us. SUPER NICE OF HIM. (considering this is a 70.00 bike).
He does so well on it. We only had one crash so far, and it was a perfect fall, Ty just hoped right back up and got right back on. And only muttered an Ohhh man...
Look at him go.
His new obsession is with "cameas" as Ty would put it. Mommy can I play with your "camea?" Poor Grandma had this question asked to her all the time the whole time she was here. So the below picture, is he figured out how to put on the timer, it was so fun to watch him one morning, he would put the timer on and go running towards the wall, and stand and smile until the picture took.
And Yes he wanted a picture with mommy too, so he started the timer, and said to me, hurry stand against the wall with me. I think its because anytime I would take a picture of my "growing tummy" I would do the same. Such a smart boy to observes everything you do. My mom said I was the exact same way, observed everything, and then would have to do it myself.
Today, I ran to the store to buy apples for the apple pie I am making for dinner. On the way home both kids crashed. Ty loves his little sister so much and wanted to cuddle with her. When I looked back This very precious scene is what I saw. And oh yeah, Ty is in a big boy seat now, and is totally thrilled with it. He has cool lights he can turn on and off so when its dark, he can still see. He would always ask us to please turn the overhead light on, but making it hard for daddy to see to drive, and now the problem is fixed.
I am also a little sad that my boy is growing up so fast. And its a little hard to swallow, that daddy is his new found favorite, my mama's boy is now a daddy's boy. But I know its because I have to devote a lot more time with Baby Shay. But I try to make mommy & Ty time, the funnest ever!

Is Santa Here...
So on Friday it was Nic's work Christmas Party. We had a good time... And yes Even HoHo came. Ty was so excited the moment he heard the Jingle Bells, his face lite up and he asked is Santa Here? Sure enough, Old Saint Nic appeared at the top of the stairs. He couldn't wait to talk to Santa...
Poor little Zac wasn't too sure about the old jolly man.
Same with Baby Nia.
And then it was Ty's turn, OH BOY. Look at that smile, a little nervous, and excited at the same time. Santa was asking him his name... "ummm Ty".
Then Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas... "ummm what I want for Christmas". Ty responded, I don't think Santa understood what he said because Santa said oh okay.
A big picture to finish, but Ty wouldn't look at me.
So now Ty is super excited about Santa, and Christmas presents. When ever the doorbell rings Ty responds with.. Is Santa Here? Oh Boy cant wait tell Christmas Morning.

The weekend
My kids fast asleep!
The fun light parade we went to with grandma. Who knew Kauai had such a fun thing at christmas time.
These were bikes that had cool lights on them. Turned out to be a funky picture!
Where else can santa bbq at christmas in just his lava-lava?
Yep even Mickey mouse came.
Then Saturday we went to Hanalei. It was such a perfect day up there! Big waves, great sun, and really great company! Nic and Todd headed out to catch the waves.
All the boys having a great time in the sand.
Ty and Tanner digging away.
And Even Shay put on her Suit, and headed for the beach, as you can tell she really loved it!

Goodbye's The Saddest Word....
Really I love people coming out to visit, but I have to tell you, I hate to say goodbye! Mom...I just don't want to even say it. We are so thankful you came out and took 3 weeks of your time to spend with us. Experience the birth of our new little one, and help with our very active Ty. I am so sorry if we have gotten on your nerves at all. I know Ty has loved having his grandma here everyday. Whenever he wakes up and comes down stairs climbs in bed with me, and then says, "is grandma still sleeping?" He is going to miss you so so very much!
Thank You for cooking, buying groceries, and dinners for us.
Thank you for all that you do for us each day of our lives.
I guess I might as well wish you an early Happy Birthday... (Dec 11)
You are such an amazing person! You are so kind to everyone you meet!
You want only the best for everyone.
You are so talented with your hands and can make anything you see or want!
thank you for raising us in the way you did!
Thank you for loving all your Grand kids!
You really have no idea how much this has meant to me, to have you here at our house taking care of us when we needed it the most. Life is so up in the air right now, new baby, Job?? who knows what will happen with that... You really have been a big support through everything.
Thanks for letting Nic take you to see the Na pali coast.
THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
We love you so much, and really I don't want to have to say goodbye tonight, but I know that dad is needing you more then we do right now! Please know that you will be very much missed by all of us! Love You Mom... Love Nic, Ty, Heidi & Shay
