What a Weekend... Temple dedication, Prophet in person, Cultural celebration... And my Girls B-day

The Oahu temple was amazing... We took the kids a few weeks ago to the open house Ty was loving it. After we came out of the tour I asked Ty how he like it. He said he really liked it, and then I asked him how it made him feel. He said this "it made me feel happy, I felt like Jesus was standing right next to me." Ohh that made the trip totally worth making. To see my son have small experiences with feel the spirit, and knowing what he is feel is so rewarding. Another cute thing, was as I was on the plane with the Youth to go to the temple Cultural Celebration I had a good friend of mine tell me that her mom (she is the seminary teacher for our ward) asked a few of the young kids if they could tell her what Heaven Looks like. When it was Ty's turn, she said she asked the question to Ty and he looked at her with a very concerned face as said.... "I can't remember." Ahh again hold back the tears. To often we forget how close to the vail these young ones still are. I guess now it my duty to refresh his memory on what Heaven looks like. Temple history here This was our Stakes dance, the were the "Immigrants" section of the celebration... They did a wonderful job. IF you want to see clips from all the dances to to this Link It was so fun to see the reaction on the Youth as our Beloved Prophet President Monson entered the room. They were so excited all they could think to do was Yell and scream... I was so over come with their Joy that all I could to to react was cry... I know surprise surprise, since our family cries at everything.... The whole program was so neat, I think I went through about 10 tissues. President Eyring, so in heaven I think through the whole thing... he was on the end of his seat through the whole hour and a half show, face all a glow with joy. And then... Yes I didn't make the mother of the year award this year... I missed my baby girls' 2nd birthday since I was over at Oahu... and to top it off, I talked to her that morning, and was so rushed to get to where we needed to be, I forgot to tell her happy birthday. Ahh... Mom now I know how you felt. Shay has definitely been an amazing Joy in our life... she is very sweet, and will always love to give hugs, kisses, and just cuddles when ever you need it! Our family wouldn't be as blessed as it is now, if we didn't have our sweet ShayShay... and now she is 2... Time is going by way to fast! I love you sis, and Thank you for your sweetness! All in all... It was a very spiritual High weekend! I don't think I have felt the spirit so strong, as I did this weekend, in a very long time. It was much needed, and I hope to keep that spirit bringing bright in my heart for some time now!

MY NEW FAV BEACH

I love going to Kalihewai Beach... Probably one of my most Favorite Beaches!!!! There is a river on one side of the beach, and the ocean on the other side! Its prefect for the kids and Daddy, making mommy very happy! This time going our good friends were nice enough to bring Hot Dogs for everyone, Thanks Spencer for roasting the hot Dogs! We all took turns on the Paddle Board... I had my first good crash, it was great a head full of Ocean water will clean ya out! Even the little one's took their turn on the board! Ty and his friends had the greatest time swimming in the River! The view of the river... Where the river meets the Ocean Ty also had a great time jumping off the rocks into the river! Our site for the day! Shay finally got into the water right at the end... making it very hard for us to get her out, even with chattering teeth and gouse bumps she still wanted to play longer! Splashing is always so much fun! Mommy and Shay getting cooled off In the river! I love the very ending of this video...she kept saying was that... and then......

Every Thursday at the mall some characters come and dance. Ty enjoyed meeting them. The kids did there first ever corn maze. 2 miles of trails but we did pretty good and made it out around 35 minutes.

SOCCER!

Ty started Soccer for the first time this year! This pic is cool just Ty and the Coach! There is the whole team. They get together at the first and practice.. each have to have an adult to help... they practice for about and hour.. and then break off 3 on 3, and play a game! Shay loves to watch, but really wants to play soccer instead of sitting on the side-lines! More drills. This was Ty when he took his drink, and sit-out turn... Here are a few videos to make you laugh... I love this age... what which way do I go???

A fun thing to do to pass time...

I love how he's all happy and playing with his mouth wide open until it goes right in his mouth!
I gotta say that was so much fun... it was a huge mess, but totally worth it! Nothing like just letting kids making a mess every now and then! Nothing like SNOW IN YOUR UNDERS!!!

Long nothings... Sorry

Sorry we have been busy these last few months... we have done lots, but keep forgetting my camera. So we did manage to take a few pics, first was the County Fair back in Aug... This is Ty on the dragon RollerCoaster.... with his good friend Aidan. They are in the last car in the pict. As you can tell by the look on their face, they are loving it! The Bounce House is always loads of fun! Then we ventured towards the "pig races" yep we had no idea they really race pigs, but hey, it was kinda cute to see, and i think the kids loved it. And there they go, Racing to see who gets the Fig Newton. Yeah who knew pigs love Figs so much! Then on to Ty's favorite by far.... THE PETTING FARM!!! He was so happy to finally catch this Black Rabbit "mommy look he is so super soft... can we get one?" The baby pigs didn't move much, but it seems like they knew the best hiding place, seems like all the other "bird" animals flocked towards them! And yes of course, he got a hold of a chicken! Then in between all this we visited home... as a surprise, Nic had a work meeting in SLC and I told him I really wanted to come to! Thanks for letting us tag along, and thanks to my fam, for letting us surprise them! It was a super fun trip! Short, but sweet! And since we have been home, Ty has been wanting some planets in his room, and some Starwars ships... So we finally made them the other day! With glow in the dark paint... and not pictured we had to make special Star Wars Planets, Ty helped me paint all of them! He loved it, and loves looking at them each night... my only complaint after all that work, the darn glow in the dark stuff does not light up very long once the lights are out, oh well, that's what we get, from out limited supplies here on the Island! I guess this is it for now, I can't upload the video i took, I will keep trying and upload it later!
