We are so blessed to have so many Temples all around us, Some of us are more fortunate to have a Temple right close by, like a 15 min drive, where others have to take a journey for days just to go. We take the temple for granted so much. Now that we are living in Kauai where there isn't a temple on the island, and we really have to plan to take the trip makes me feel really guilty for not going more when I lived close by one. The Lord really does bless us with the places he puts the temples.
My sister sent me this story, and let me tell you, I was in tears. You need to read the whole story to know just how much saints sacrafice to make it to the temple.
Nigeria Saints click Nigerian Saints to read their story. Thank you to those saints for showing us all the example of the Joy that comes from going to the temple. I am Thankful to my Heavenly Father for letting us build a house for him. So we can feel just one step closer to him. The pics are just a few temples that I have been through.

The Oahu temple is very dear to my heart, for that is where I went through for the frist time. What an amazing experiance, to have my whole family there with me waiting in the other room.

Provo, Utah

This is another special one to me, Timp. is where Nic and I were married.

Salt Lake City, Utah

Washington DC

Manti, Utah

Portland, Oregon

Las Vegas, Nevada

Nauvoo, Illinois. I have not been through this one, but we did see it while they were building it. What a sacrifice the first saints made to build this one the very first time.

What a neat story. It reminded me of Ukraine. The closest temple was in Germany and it would take 3-4 days on the bus to get there (cheaper to go by bus). We were only able to go once just because it was so expensive. People in Ukraine have to save money for years in order to attend the temple. Many only get to go once in their lifetime. We really are so blessed to have temples close by. Unfortunately, I think we take that for granted a lot of the times. I know I'm guilty of that. This story is a true inspiration.
k loved the pictures. you made me feel a little guiltey. we haven't been for a while and need to plan it. There really is no excuse for that one. I loved all of the pictures that you posted one other that is one of my favorites is the san deiago , So pretty.

I just went back through these pict. and i noticed how the mountain is behind timp. I kinda got a little teary. cuz on the 21 it will be 7 years for me and cod, and that temple is so pretty, especially in this being my most favorite season . I love it thanks
We really do take so much for granted. Even the running water, and refridgerator that the saints were so amazed by. To have the faith to press on in those conditions when it would be so easy to turn back. Thanks to Nancy for sending me the email with the link, and giving my day a little "spiritual upliftment"!
Incredible! What a good reminder of how blessed we are! I'm spoiled, my only concern is finding a babysitter. Thanks for sharing!
Great photos! Great reminder. We all need to hear. We are spoiled here in Utah, USA. We don't realize what we have. Thanks for the story Tiff and Heidi.
