Running Weekend...

So Nic ran in the 8 mile race from Ha'ena to Hanalie Bay. It was fun to watch as he came through the finish line, along with Brady, Karen, and our friend Leslie from off island. She is the sister to a few of the guys Nic and Brady work with. Nic did awesome and ran low 6 min miles, which was great! Ty was pretty good to wait at the finish line, but soon got a little restless and wanted to go play. Here Nic comes... There Nic goes. Shortly behind Nic, came Brady. And shortly behind Brady came Karen. It was fun to watch them all cross the finish line, knowing they pushed there hardest. Great Job guys. On Sunday evening, we were playing outside before bed time, and Ty stepped on a bee. He took it really well, and thought it was kinda neat to have mud on his foot. Its all healed now.

Way to go Nic, and poor baby Ty. Alyssa got stung when we were in Montana. A bee flew into her hand while she was asleep. She closed her hand and the bee freaked out and got her. It looks like he endured it well.

By the way, I tagged you. Check out my blog to see what you are to do.

When I first saw the picture of Ty's foot I thought it was poop. So I don't know what's worse...poop or a bee sting.

Great job Nic. You run enough to make up for what we don't run!

Great job Nic!! you should be so proud of yourself. I love the people standing along the side of the road cheering you on. Any kind of mile is pretty impressive in my book.
Sorry Ty got an owey, but it looks like he didn't mind too bad, and mommy you are starting to look pregnant. How exciting!! She will be here before you know it.
