Day 2 Big Island

Welcome To Kona..... I thought we landed on a different continent... are we not still in tropical Hawaii I kept asking myself??? Kona was totally different then I had pictured it to be! Another pic of Kona right by our hotel Most of the beaches in Kona look like this... white rocks, which are smooth coral. There is one beach on Kona side that is rated in the top 4 beaches.... Mania Kea. We stopped by for a quick look. Ty wanted nothing to do with it... He just wanted to go back to the hotel and slide. This was the best family Pic I could get at the beach! So back to the hotel we went for more slides and pools! Be got this huge turtle, which was fun to play on, Shay wasn't 100% sold on the idea of it all! One fun things while we were there, was Ty discovered he can snorkel and he loves it! Me and Shay playing on the sand pool! This was our half way snack and reapply sunscreen area. Right in front of the Dolphin pools. We would eat our snacks and watch the Dolphins do tricks and train! Both kids were cold after a long day in the pools so i dress Ty in Nic's shirt, and Shay in my shirt to walk back to the room. Hey at least I didn't hear complaints that he was cold! This is s pic of the fun boats you take to get around the resort! Day 2. another fun day swimming and lounging at the pools!
