But after a while I was getting a little suspicious... well I went into my room and this is what mommy found.... Shay what are you doing... (her response... Cheese) Again mommy asked... "what are you doing..." Shay looks down at the mess and says..... Oh mess mommy... Powder made mess! No Shay made mess with the Powder silly girl! Guess daddy teaching her to put powder on her bum payed off... look she can do it all by herself now!!!! My bathroom was so dusty after that! This was totally something Ty would have done at her age! Napali Boat Ride 2011

For New Years Day Nic took Ty and I on a Napali Catamaran Boat Ride Which tours the whole West and North side of the Island. It was so amazing... I know our island was beautiful, but I didn't realize what I had been missing out on for 4 years of living here! This is right after we first got on the boat, Ty has his mouth full of pastries which were super yummy... it was about 8am and a cloudy day, so it was a tiny bit cold! Ty was kinda out of it until the Sun came out, he was cold, and had a dose of dramamine (sp??) in him. He always gets car sick when we go on long car rides, so we were worried he would be sick on the boat ride. But once the sun came out he perked right up... almost a little too much details later! Right out of the port we were lucky to run into a whole pod of spinner dolphins.... They would swim right along with the boat... and under the boat also, we sat on the front tramp part of the boat almost the whole trip which was very cool! It was cool to see them under the water also! The morning sky! Ty trying to keep warm The brave man... looking for fish... he said the water felt great, but the air was cold! Ty feed the fish, which he loved. Nic after his morning swim... checking out the view from the front of the boat. Ty and Nic with the Captin Hanging loose up front Checking to see he could see any fish or dolphins or anything Driving the boat! Ahhh we made it... the beautiful and amazing Napali coast! My boys! This was right before Ty went flying through the air... seeing that he didn't want to hold my hand... thanks to that lady in the white... she cought his fall as he was plaster against her! I think it scared both of them a little bit! This is the last beach that you can hike to if you do the Kalalau trail Nic said this is the scariest part of the whole thing... I don't know if you can see the people making their way across the pass It was such a great day!!! I didn't have the camera out when the huge whale surfaced right in front of the boat... you could see the detail on that big fella! And may I say again... BIG FELLA!!! Those whales are HUGE!~! K, this is long enough I will post the videos on another post!

Our ward Christmas Party was fun, santa, dancing by shay, good music, and the nativity! this was as close to santa as shay was going to get! The work Christmas Party was lots of fun!!! The hit for the night was the huge chocolate fountain. Ty was just tall enought to do it himself! Yummy look at that Chocolate on that Strawberry.... Yummy look at that Chocolate on Ty's face... as you can tell it was quiet enjoyable just as fun to make as it was to eat! Shay was a lucky girl and got the extra Barbie from Shaun! Thanks uncle Shaun! Santa is always fun to talk to! Umm I want Legos for Christmas is what he has told every santa! Nope Not gonna Happen.... The poor girl finally got to blow out her candles... umm almost a month late! We have had fun doing winter activities... one day Snowman... and read the book Snowmen at night. I seem to have left that book back home in Utah because I have searched my house for it! And then we had a snowflake day! That was fun, and Ty is an amazing snow flake maker! Ahh I love Christmas time! Too bad it has to end in about 4 days!

Birthday Girl catch up...

Shay's birthday was a little belayded.... But I think she was pleased with what she got. Carefully opening her present. Ty was so good to let her open it, and not get in the way... He really wanted to help but listened so well! Shay didn't quiet know how the bag worked, so Big brother showed her how to pull it out. See... That look could please any parent... What a happy girl, to have her baby! And New Bike! I love you Shay girl, you have been a joy since the day you entered our family! Thank you for that sweetness!

What a Weekend... Temple dedication, Prophet in person, Cultural celebration... And my Girls B-day

The Oahu temple was amazing... We took the kids a few weeks ago to the open house Ty was loving it. After we came out of the tour I asked Ty how he like it. He said he really liked it, and then I asked him how it made him feel. He said this "it made me feel happy, I felt like Jesus was standing right next to me." Ohh that made the trip totally worth making. To see my son have small experiences with feel the spirit, and knowing what he is feel is so rewarding. Another cute thing, was as I was on the plane with the Youth to go to the temple Cultural Celebration I had a good friend of mine tell me that her mom (she is the seminary teacher for our ward) asked a few of the young kids if they could tell her what Heaven Looks like. When it was Ty's turn, she said she asked the question to Ty and he looked at her with a very concerned face as said.... "I can't remember." Ahh again hold back the tears. To often we forget how close to the vail these young ones still are. I guess now it my duty to refresh his memory on what Heaven looks like. Temple history here This was our Stakes dance, the were the "Immigrants" section of the celebration... They did a wonderful job. IF you want to see clips from all the dances to to this Link It was so fun to see the reaction on the Youth as our Beloved Prophet President Monson entered the room. They were so excited all they could think to do was Yell and scream... I was so over come with their Joy that all I could to to react was cry... I know surprise surprise, since our family cries at everything.... The whole program was so neat, I think I went through about 10 tissues. President Eyring, so in heaven I think through the whole thing... he was on the end of his seat through the whole hour and a half show, face all a glow with joy. And then... Yes I didn't make the mother of the year award this year... I missed my baby girls' 2nd birthday since I was over at Oahu... and to top it off, I talked to her that morning, and was so rushed to get to where we needed to be, I forgot to tell her happy birthday. Ahh... Mom now I know how you felt. Shay has definitely been an amazing Joy in our life... she is very sweet, and will always love to give hugs, kisses, and just cuddles when ever you need it! Our family wouldn't be as blessed as it is now, if we didn't have our sweet ShayShay... and now she is 2... Time is going by way to fast! I love you sis, and Thank you for your sweetness! All in all... It was a very spiritual High weekend! I don't think I have felt the spirit so strong, as I did this weekend, in a very long time. It was much needed, and I hope to keep that spirit bringing bright in my heart for some time now!
