I don't know why, but to me Orchids are so enchanting. I don't know if its because they look almost like a lion, or some kind of animal peaking out through the middle of the flower, extending there long fuzzy toung. Or just because they are so gentle and bright colored. What is it about Orchid? If you know let me know! I should just ask the flower expert, Mom what do you think?

I like them because there different than any other flower. i love those colors, are those from your back yard? so pretty.....
That is the orchid, that Ty and Nic gave me for mothers day, it sits in my Kitchen window! I love to look at it when I first get up in the morning.
Those are beautiful. Are they hard to keep alive? Cuz if its not in the kitchen window where I'll remember to water it, then its dead!

For me the orchids are so amazing because they don't look real. They look plastic or something. the other thing is that the colors and patterns are so cool and the detail is incredible. It's almost like someone took a paint brush and hand painted the detail by hand since its so perfect. Then too, I agree with Shell in that they are sooo different from what we have here. Peteunia anyone??
