One of those Days....
Okay I know everyone has had them, but Today was my turn to have one of those days when you ask yourself okay what else can happen... Well to start Ty was in one of those moods where he was from one thing to the next in a matter of min. He reminded me of the boy off Incredible Dash, is his name, and super speed is his game. Well Ty was my little Dash today. While I was giving a Haircut to one of my sweet friends Ty managed to pull all my clothes off my shelves in my closet including the baby's clothes I had just put nicely on the shelf a few days before. AHHH its a mess let me tell you. So then he didn't want my sweet friend Mindee to leave. He loves her so much, because she loves to play with him, and loves to watch him while I go to my Dr.s apt. So I was feeling super bad, that we kept her here for almost 2hrs playing and talking and cutting, hair. It was super nice to chat with an adult, but I felt bad that she was here for so long. So we eat lunch, and Ty is getting tired, well I didn't want to have to deal with him fighting taking a nap so I threw him in the car. Well a block from our house he is out, and all the sudden I hear sirens, I look in my mirror, and Yep there is the undercover cop right on my tail. I look at my speedometer, and its right on 25mph, which is the speed limit. So why in the crap am I being pulled over. He comes to my window, and says license, registration, insurance, and do you have a medical paper saying why you have to have dark tint on your windows, I looked very confused at him and said No. Then he proceeds to get kinda huffy with me and says the fine is 280.00 per window, back windows are fine, but both front windows are too dark. K I had no clue... the he keeps going on and on, saying this will never pass safety inspection, and I said well we have had 2 since moving here, and we passed both times. Opps I think I just got the place we got our inspection done at in trouble. So as I am still fumbling to find our current insurance card he says are you just going to this address on your registration, I said Yes just headed home to lay my little boy down. Then I ask him, so what is the limit here? He says well let me check... goes and gets his little tint detector device, and says can you roll it up a little so I can get the reading on this. It came out at 19.9% then says see this is way to dark, the limit is 35%. Then I said okay, so he says, take it off this week, if I catch you again next week I am going to issue the citation. Ummm okay I said. Then as he walks away says have a good day, and we are all good since the little one stayed asleep right? Umm sure, now that you scared the crap out of me, and put me into early labor... (not really the early labor, but he did scare me). So sounds like we are going to have to say bye bye to our nice tint in our windows. So sad, it kept so much heat out of the car. So then I get to drive home to a super messy house, and hopefully lay down to try to shake it off. And yes I have to admit when I called my Hubby I broke down in tears. Darn cops why do they have to be so intimidating? So I hope that was it, I hope we can just have a great time on the beach tonight eating our tinfoil dinners!!! Thanks all for listening.

I am with you on that one today too! I am so sorry you having a rough day! I just barely went and shut myself in my room because I am going to explode if I don't take some alone time. I hope you have a great night!
Ooh that dirty rotten cop. Man, I mean you definitely fit the description of a hoodlum. Geez...
Just remember this, you got to go home to a loving husband and son with the knowledge of who you are and how many people love you. That cop...who knows, maybe he isn't so happy when he goes home.
I sure you got to enjoy those tin foil dinners.
So sorry! Cop's sure can be jerks sometimes. I am sorry that you are the one that got picked on today. Hopefully you have a mellower night and enjoy a sunset on the beach. Love you!
He probably realize what a sweet, nice, pregnant mommy you were and finally felt bad and had to say something in the end. What a Booger!
I don't feel bad about your tin foil dinner on the beach, with the waves rolling in, and the sun setting. I wish I was there!!!! With you! Have a better day. Luv ya!
Yes, why do cops have to be so intimidating? I just break down and cry- and then they are usually a lot nicer to me. It is like- I see hte lights behind me and my eyes just know what to do!
